recovery.

Phoenix Centre is an Alcohol and other Drug Assessment and Treatment Service that covers the entire
Counties Manukau area. Qualified Clinicians and Peer Support Specialists come together to create a
programme that addresses your individual needs, may involve your family or community and empowers you
to break the chain of substance use, revealing the person that is trapped within the addiction. Our dedicated
team will deliver a programme that is tailored to your needs in the safety of your own community.

Help from a Peer Support Specialist

Through hardship we learn that our family, friends and community are crucial to our wellbeing and that
nobody is an island. We also believe that recovery is a journey and we will aim to build your confidence and
empower you to take control of your own life.

Upon joining our programme you will be matched with a Peer Support Specialist who has lived experience
with problem alcohol or other drug use, and who will share with you their own recovery success story. Our
team will listen and work with you when putting together your recovery plan. We will help you set your own
goals and consider your values and beliefs when building your programme, understanding that everyone has
different needs and that you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
