Challenge Trust is one of New Zealand's leading independent providers of care for adults and youth with a wide range of mental health and addiction related issues.
The Trust has recently been selected as the preferred provider for a new and innovative eating disorders service in Auckland.
The Service
This service is the first of its kind in New Zealand and will be the centre of excellence for the treatment of eating disorders. The centre will be comprised of both residential and day programme components that will complement the Auckland Regional Eating Disorders Service. Multi disciplinary teams will work alongside clients of the service to assist them on their journey of recovery.
The Roles
We have appointed a leading and well known authority in the field to lead this service. We are now seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals who will form the foundation of this centre and establish it as the leading provider of eating disorders services in New Zealand.
We wish to recruit professionals to the following positions:
- a Consultant Psychiatrist
- Clinical Psychologists
- Registered Nurses
- a Dietician
- an Occupational Therapist
- a Physiotherapist
- Support Workers
An interest in eating disorders is essential with prior experience in eating disorder service delivery highly desirable.
